This multi-course tasting and dinner will feature the innovative cuisine of Executive Chef Daniel Humm paired with a mind-boggling array of older Barolos and Barbarescos going back to the 1950s, including wines from Vietti, Cavallotto, Bartolo Mascarello and Scavino. This dinner will be held to support the victims of Hurricane Sandy. 100% of profits will be donated to charity.
Saturday 2pm – 2008 Barolo Tasting at Del Posto, New York, NY
Fifteen winemakers will be on hand to present their 2008 Barolos in a formal, sit-down tasting. Vintage 2008 is a cool, late-harvest year that yielded expressive Barolos with distinct, site-specific signatures.
Saturday 6:30 pm – Gala Dinner at Del Posto, New York, NY
This Paulee-style BYOB Gala Dinner will feature a stunning set of older wines paired with the brilliant cuisine of Executive Chef Mark Ladner.
