Robert M. Parker, Jr., widely considered to be the most powerful critic in the world, asked Pierre Rovani to join him in 1996. For the following 10 years Mr. Rovani was responsible for the many of the world's wine producing regions, including Burgundy, the Loire, Alsace, Oregon, southern France (Languedoc-Roussillon), Washington State, South Africa, Germany, Austria, New Zealand, Champagne, and many others. His writings appeared in the The Wine Advocate and the best-selling The Wine Buyer's Guide, published by Simon & Schuster in the United States. The journal is published in English and French, and the guides are published in numerous languages, earning top-selling honors in many countries, including France, England, Germany, and Japan.
