Pierre-Antoine Rovani was for ten years Robert Parker's associate, covering many regions, including Burgundy, the Loire, Alsace, Oregon, the Languedoc, Washington State, South Africa, the Roussillon, Germany, Austria, New Zealand, and Champagne. His writings appeared in the The Wine Advocate and the best-selling The Wine Buyer's Guide.
Currently, Pierre works for THEM, LLC, a company responsible for the wine-related investments of New York's Eddie and Howard Milstein as well as Toronto's Todd Halpern. He is also the President of Remoissenet Père et Fils, a 13.5 hectare (over 33 acres) Burgundian estate and négociant house located in Beaune.
Born in 1964 in Washington, DC, he is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining Parker at The Wine Advocate, Pierre worked on Capitol Hill, was a founder and co-owner of an electronic publishing company, White House correspondent, and a business consultant before he followed his passion for wine by becoming a buyer and seller for Bassin's MacArthur's Beverages, a fine wine merchant in Washington, DC.
Pierre is on a quest to experience all of life's pleasures.
