He is also the President of Remoissenet Père et Fils, a 13.5 hectare (over 33 acres) Burgundian estate and négociant house located in Beaune.

Born in 1964 in Washington, DC, he is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining Parker at The Wine Advocate, Pierre worked on Capitol Hill, was a founder and co-owner of an electronic publishing company, White House correspondent, and a business consultant before he followed his passion for wine by becoming a buyer and seller for Bassin's MacArthur's Beverages, a fine wine merchant in Washington, DC.

Pierre is on a quest to experience all of life's pleasures.
